Yoel Diaz Galvez was born in Cuidad de La Habana, Cuba on May 24, 1979. Currently, he’s settled in Guadalajara, Jal. Mex. He studied fine art at the Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro Specialty in Painting and Drawing, Cuba. Galvez’s style is hyper-realism, and most of his works are oil on canvas paintings. Besides being an artist, he teaches art and runs the same art department where he studied. With his high ability to succeed in creating ‘Mimesis’ and deceiving the viewer, images in his deep understanding of anatomy and still life. Therefore he also serves as a professor of Artistic Anatomy and drawing of the natural.
